Registration is now open for the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Association for the Sociology of Religion, taking place August 8–10, 2026, at The New Yorker Hotel in New York City. This year’s meeting theme is Beyond Binaries & Boundaries: Religion Redefined in Unsettled Times. 

We look forward to gathering with scholars from across the field for three days of research presentations, dialogue, and connection.

Registration Rates:
• Professional ASR Member – $175
• Professional Non-Member – $190
• Student – $65

All participants are expected to register by July 1, 2026. Any registration past this date will not have the participants name on the 2026 Meeting Program.

ASR membership is required to organize a session, present a paper, serve as a panelist, or participate in another program role. If you are not a current member, join today!

We encourage you to secure your registration early and make plans to join us in New York this August. We look forward to seeing you there!
