Religion and Contemporary Activism

2012-11-30T15:43:58-05:00

Mobilizing Ideas (http://mobilizingideas.wordpress.com) has launched a new essay dialogue entitled: Religion and Contemporary Activism.  Recent empirical cases of the relationship between religion and activism require scholars to reevaluate our current theories to see if they adequately capture the myriad relationships between religion and activism. Contributors to the first round of essays in this dialogue include Rhys Williams, Ziad Munson, Grace Yukich, and Tricia Bruce. We will also post several more essays on this topic in mid November.  We invite you to visit the blog, enjoy reading these posts, and join the conversation by posting your thoughts in the comments.

Mobilizing Ideas Editors in Chief,  Rory McVeigh, Daniel Myers, Grace Yukich, and David Ortiz
